Dwarf Lops

Dwarf Lop

Dwarf Lop rabbits are good-natured mainly placid bunnies, and make good pets for any age.  They are generally less fragile and reactive than smaller bunnies, and so are good petting bunnies for small children and as therapy animals for the elderly or disabled.
Dwarf lops are generally between just under 2 kg to 2 1/2 kg in weight; with the ideal being right around 2 kg.  The Dwarf Lop body is short and rounded, with a deep chest and wide shoulders, and short, strong legs, forming a rectangular shape from above.  Its ears should be broad, thick, well-furred, and lie straight down from a prominent crown, close to the eyes   The coat should roll back luxuriously when stroked against the grain.
