Lop rabbits are good-natured mainly placid bunnies, and make good pets for any
age. They are generally less fragile and reactive than smaller bunnies, and
so are good petting bunnies for small children and as therapy animals for the
elderly or disabled.
lops are generally between just under 2 kg to 2 1/2 kg in weight; with the
ideal being right around 2 kg. The Dwarf Lop body is short and rounded, with
a deep chest and wide shoulders, and short, strong legs, forming a rectangular
shape from above. Its ears should be broad, thick, well-furred, and lie
straight down from a prominent crown, close to the eyes The coat should roll
back luxuriously when stroked against the grain.
